Friends for Life Dog Rescue was created because five people wanted to help dogs and owners in their communities. It hasn't always been easy, but we kept our intention. However, we can use all the help we can get!

Do you love dogs and want to help but aren't sure how? Here are some ideas of the many, many ways you can help our organization:

  • Foster a dog in your home (we cover all the food and medical bills!)

  • Donate food, treats, cleaning supplies, or money to cover vet bills

  • Help families with dog training

  • Deliver food or dog houses to dogs in need

  • Walk dogs in your spare time

  • Help with fundraising ideas and events

  • Share our posts on social media

If you want to help, we'd love to have you! Please fill our the foster form or contact us and let us know how you want to help our rescue and your community!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Monetary donations are always accepted and appreciated. Your donation helps us buy food and supplies for the dogs, as well as pay their vet bills. No amount is too small and is very much appreciated! Click here to donate via Paypal (you don't need a Paypal account to donate and can use any bank account or credit card!) Your donation is tax deductible.

Donations of food, supplies, and treats welcome! We also need wire crates for our foster homes. New or gently used (must have bottom tray) crates and other donations can be dropped off at The Animal Doctor in Newport Center, VT, or contact us for shipping address.

THANK YOU!

FOSTER HOMES DESPERATELY NEEDED!

Becoming a foster is so rewarding! We match our dogs with the right foster and provide all food, toys, treats and medical attention. All you have to provide is love, attention and a safe environment where the dog can thrive! Fostering makes a huge difference as opposed to staying in a kennel in a shelter. Can you open your home temporarily to a dog in need? If so, fill our our foster application today!
